Jacques Magen is the Chairman of the Celtic-Plus EUREKA Cluster, an R&D programme dedicated to telecommunication networks and services (www.celticplus.eu), involving industry and public authorities from European countries, Canada and South Korea.

Jacques has 30 years of experience in international R&D and innovation all over Europe and beyond, most specifically in the field of telecommunications and information technologies. This includes 15 years in research and innovation collaborative programmes, both in industry and in national and regional funding public agencies.

In addition to Celtic-Plus, Jacques Magen is the Chairman of InterInnov, a consulting company specialised in international innovation (www.interinnov.eu). He is a member of the Board of the 5G Infrastructure Association, that is co-steering the 5G Public-Private Partnership with the European Commission (www.5g-ppp.eu), and is also a member of the Steering Board of the NetWorld2020 European Technology Platform (www.networld2020.eu/). He is also leading FIWARE Mundus, the international activities of FIWARE, the global open source solution for the development of new Smart Applications in multiple sectors (www.fiware.org/).
